Homegrown in Whistler, BC, whistlerness is our family’s manifestation of love for our little mountain town. Every single day, we feel grateful to live here!

Who are we?

Nestled in the beautiful Coast Mountains near the wild west coast of British Columbia, Whistler is an awesome place to be. Surrounded by ancient forests and living rivers, a landscape alive with bears, eagles and other wildlife, incredible biking and hiking trails from the high alpine to the lush valley floor - Whistler is the ultimate playground for anyone who loves to spend time outdoors.

Living in a resort community, there's always fresh energy with new faces in town and bands playing on patios along the village stroll. Fresh pow days on the ski hill, epic mountain bike rides that you'll remember forever, exploring ancient forests, catching glimpses of black bears in the alpenglow, sweet swimming spots on the lake and, of course, that rockin' apres-ski vibe that's always pulsing, even (especially?!) for the old-time locals - this is Whistler. Awesome, right? 

But in our 20+ years of living here, we've discovered that Whistler's awesomeness runs much deeper than what you see out there on the trails or along the Village Stroll. What makes this town extra special is its community.

In the good times and the not-so-good times, Whistler has shown itself as a community of deeply caring, connected folks who appreciate their natural surroundings, who strive to make a positive difference and who endlessly come together with their big warm hearts to support each other. Our town is filled with amazing humans who truly care for each other and for this beautiful place we live in - this (!) is Whistler

Our family started the whistlerness brand to celebrate and strengthen Whistler's sense of community. We want to do this by showcasing the things that make this place amazing to the people who live, love and play here. The natural beauty and biodiversity, the history, the wild old-timer ski bum stories, today's antics and aspirations, and the families and friends who live and play here. It's the people of Whistler who create this totally unique, energized sense of place and belonging from their passion and care for each other and for this place.

Because we care about our planet and our children's future, we are committed to sourcing environmentally friendly products that are made in socially responsible ways.
